Senior Automation Engineer responsible for upgrading an existing API production building from PLC/SCADA control system to DeltaV. New control modules were developed for a serial interface with an Allen Bradley Control Logix PLC. The serial interface was achieved using a MYNAH VIM serial interface module. A soft phase was also developed to interface a bar code reader with the Delta VDCS for material tracking.

McL have acted as Electrical and Instrumentation construction managers on numerous projects both in Ireland and overseas.
Responsible for the delivery and installation of equipment and instrumentation onsite to meet project schedule milestones. Co-ordination between equipment vendors and local contractors to ensure that all works were carried out in accordance with client specifications. Reviewed and approved instrumentation and control panel specifications.
